Absolutely stupid,You have ruined a really good and easy program! I did exactly as you said. I have a new phone and I’m setting up the authenticator app.

I am looking to scan the barcode on Xero and it does not show up. I disabled Please give us a step by step instructions on how to get the QR Code!!! If it is how you suggest – disable 2SA and then enable, make it work!! So I managed to get the QR Code with a lot of stuffing around!!! I disabled the 2SA on my computer using my alternative email address to get a verification code.

I then logged on to Xero on my mobile phone and asked me to set up 2SA and it gave me the QR Code, I to a pic on my husbands phone of the QR Code, scanned the code from the photo into my Authenticator App and it worked!!! Why, why, why is it so hard. It took me ages of messing around to work this out. Just popping back in here to give you a direct link around setting up 2SA on a new device.

If like me you reset the old phone before scanning QR code. Log into Xero using another authentication method, i. Once your in go to account setting It will allow you to prompt a disable of the Two-step Authentication, again asking for security questions.
